2007 Ultimate - no longer on card autos?

Dont know if this has been discussed, but this AD popped up in eBay, and I wasn't aware that the autos weren't going to be on-card:

that was my thought too, I'd prefer the on-card autos

Yeah, just noticed the same thing. The lack of on-card autos make it no better than any other of the early releases. Upper Deck used stickers with this year's Ultimate baseball, and it looks like it's struggling (looking at how cheap I can find autos in that set). This will likely struggle as well.

Many of the autographs are on stickers. That looks like it might be a trapped tag, but I know some of the other autos are stickers.

i always loved rookie ultimate autographs...but bleh. im really turned away from this product. i usually pick up the buccaneer rookies, but now...i'll just stay away from it.

They look to be the same (trapped/cut autos) as the regular rookies. The Ultimate Signatures, Ultimate Triple Signatures, and Ultimate Inscriptions are all stickers.
