There are some limitations:
Something else to keep in mind is that, while your new username will be displayed in all the more important places, there are some places across the site where your old username may still be displayed. For example, the transaction titles on your older transactions will not change. Also, anywhere you've already been mentioned or quoted in a post, your old username(s) will still show in those locations. There may be a few other places, but I think these are the ones that will be the most prominent.
There are some limitations:
- Members will be able to change their username once every 60 days. If you're a new member, you'll be able to change yours for the first time 60 days after you registered.
- If you change your username, nobody will be able to use your old username for 365 days from the time you change.
- Your username history will show next to your username, in your profile, for a total of 180 days from the time you change.
