Representatives at Upper Deck have confirmed that the recently released 2007 Exquisite Rookie Signatures collection boasts two special cut signature and autograph promotions.

Collectors will have the opportunity to pull exchange cards for Upper Deck's recently launched "Mystery Dual Cuts Autograph Program." The lucky collectors who register their cards first can then choose from a series of one-of-a-kind dual-cut signature cards from famous deceased athletes and/or celebrities. A total of ten of these rare dual-cut signature exchange cards will be available in 2007 Exquisite Rookie Signatures.

The second promotion is a wrapper redemption opportunity where collectors can submit their opened foil wrappers for the opportunity to build their own one-of-one dual or quad autograph card.

Seven winners will be chosen each week during the six-week wrapper redemption program. Collectors can begin mailing the wrappers immediately to:

The Upper Deck Company
Attn: Exquisite MLB Wrapper Redemption
5909 Sea Otter Place
Carlsbad, CA 92010

There will be a total of 42 winners. Twenty-one collectors will create their own dual autograph card and the other 21 collectors will create a quad autograph card.

"We did not want to issue these cards as exchange cards because (exchange cards) can sometimes just sit in packs waiting to be found," said Jason Masherah, Upper Deck's Baseball brand manager. "We wanted to reward those collectors who were opening the product right off the bat. Additionally, since the program will be complete after just six weeks, it will allow us time to get the cards produced and mailed out to collectors in a much more timely fashion."
