Trip to the store

Went to my local shop today he is having a sale through the rest of the year. All kinds of signed boxing stuff, signed Seahawks stuff, etc. Had a really sweet Super Bowl 40 white panel football signed nice and big by Hasselbeck.

I got an 07 Topps CoSigners box for 20% off plus got to spin for a free bag o stocking stuffers (got 2 packs of old football cards and 2 MLB cards). I'll post the CoSigners cards later if anybody cares.

Anyway, I was just looking through his cases of opened cards to see if he had any good cards of players I remember from around TCG. I could only remember Kevin Curtis and Northcutt. Can't remember who collects them though.

He had 2 signed Curtis cards. Don't know years but you will. Sage 164/400 and a Hit.

The Northcutt was a UD Vintage Preview card of Northcutt/Wynn 600/1000.

I didn't ask prices but if you know who wants them I can find out. Or tell me what you'll give and I'll run it by him.

I believe the Northcutt collector is northcuttfan and the Curtis collector is DNoz

Man, I've bought three boxes in my whole life and every one of them was a bust.

I bought a 98 Bowman back then and didn't get anything big (haven't checked prices to see if anybody from that set is worth anything now)

I got an 06 Triple Threads earlier this year and the big "hit" was a three jersey card #/9. The big name on it? Your dogs best friend and mine, Vick. Got right as the dog thing was breaking.

And this CoSigners box from yesterday. Sheesh. The big hits? Sig of Dallas Baker, rookie practice squad guy from PIT and dual sig of two dudes I never heard of and can't remember right now. Whoo hoo.

0 for 3 in boxes. Time to retire.
