Topps Mayo - the truth

scotsman

Bench Warmer
It seems that Topps apparently went and changed the auto /box ratio from 1-2 per box to 1 per 6 boxes, along with a dramatic change in the autos list, just prior to distributing. Saw this elsewhere and thought it was worth sharing.... Avoid like the plague until prices drop (unless you like collecting base sets)

Here are all the ones not now included despite being advertised as being possible pulls!

I would love to own the Mark Twain cut, but I think there are better media on which to own a Twain auto than a football card

Aren't there laws against doing this kind of crap  I know it's hard to prove, but sounds an awful lot like bait and switch.

Most states have consumer protection laws that prohibit bait and switch scenarios. I don't know, though, if people that purchased this product in advance or ordered the product based on the initial sell sheets were given an opportunity to change their orders.
