Seeking closure, Titans owner Bud Adams has purchased a prime piece of Buffalo real estate -- Sunday's back page of The Buffalo News sports section.

Adams took out a full-page color advertisement in The News amid the controversy that followed his obscene gestures in Nashville last week during the Titans' rout of the Bills.

"We wish the Bills and their fans good luck today and for the remainder of the season," a large white caption in the blue ad says.

A photo of Buffalo's defensive line anchors the page, topped with a Bills team logo.

The text of the ad includes "Bud Adams" and "Tennessee Titans" on separate lines centered above a Titans logo.

The NFL fined Adams $250,000 on Monday for throwing an emphatic series of middle fingers from a luxury suite at LP Field as the Titans secured the 41-17 win over the Bills, a victory that included 24 straight points in the fourth quarter.

The Bills, who play at Jacksonville on Sunday, fell to 3-6 with the loss to the Titans, who improved to 3-6.

Adams was also seen making the gesture on the sideline after the game.

The 86-year-old Adams apologized for the incidents in a statement Monday.
