Tips for busting graded card out of holder?

I've got a Hester card that I need to bust out of it's BGS 8.5 holder. I do not know how to go about this without chopping the nuts off the card.

Any good ways to do this?

take a hammer and crack the part where the grade is and it should peel back, thats how I do it, and no damage

chip off the top corner where the label is with a screw driver, then slide the screw driver in and pry it apart starting at the part w/ the label. It's how I've always done it and never damaged a card.

Would have done the hammer technique but could not find my trusty hammer.
