There is a flaw in ebay.

I had to file a NPB report today, and noticed unless he responds right away, I have to wait 8 days before I can close the case myself. He hasnt responded to my message I sent him 4 days ago, I dont think he is going to respond to this. I have a buyer lined up for the card now, but it all hangs in the fate of the auction winner. Transactions should take no longer than 5-9 days.

Buyer pays within 1-2 days.
Seller ships within 1-2 days.
USPS ships within 3-5 days.
Transaction done in 5-9 days.

So why do I have to wait 7 days to file, and another 8 days to close the claim?

Agreed. A few years ago, google was supposed to come out with an auction site that would rival ebay. Listings were to be free, and they would make their money on the advertising alone. I dont know what happened with the idea.

the reason you have to wait 7 days to file is because that is how long a buyer has to pay. Its been that way for a while. I agree it sucks, but thats how it is.

I know you have 7 days to pay. I have been on ebay since 99. But 8 days to respond to a claim? 15 days total? Is that really necessary.

I have people message me 2 hours after I win (w/out the immediate payment thing listed) and ask if I plan on paying for the auction or not. It REALLY sucks when I win something on Saturday and can't respond til Monday :wall: ...

No not at all it straight bs, but as of now we have to deal with it cause there really is no better place to sell your cards.
