The Ben Obomanu collection finally all scanned!

It was about time I scanned this collection. My Obo collection started like all other collections of mine where I tried to grab what I could. I had a bit of a financial hardship a couple years back and sold a few of my rarest Obo’s. Well awhile back, I was presented with the opportunity to not only get those back, but get the other collector’s entire Obomanu collection. It took about a month’s worth of negotiating but I got them. After putting his and my collections together I decided I might as well start going for everything I could find of his.

I want to thank AUTaxMan for being cool enough to trade some of these out of his collection. Thank you Brandon!

There are 4 non 1/1’s left (as well as 47 1/1’s) so if you happen to see an Obomanu 1/1, I would love to acquire it. Also, if you happen to see a Donruss Elite Status Red/2, Gridiron Gear Gold O’s/100, Gridiron Gear Platinum O’s/25, or Topps Total Black/50, please get it!

There is one thing I have learned over the last year: Always, ALWAYS have an emergency fund if given an opportunity (just like the Tatupu pickup)

I did that with Stovall. Found a guy selling and got over $6500 in cards for less than $600 delivered (mostly VERY high end - relatively speaking)

I am getting ready for the Morrah right now. I won the Hass and Housh just for fun already. :dance:

On 1/1s we can always discuss what we will pay and let the higher place the bid. Granted I pay way too much for these bad boys if necessary. The Mebane is the one id like to see the most.
