Shill Bidding Brings Sports Memorabilia Auctioneers Down

Well, I hadn't heard of the feds cracking down so heavily on shill bidding before. Looks like these guys from Mastro Auctions (never heard of them, have you?) didn't want to play nicely with the FBI investigators and are being shown the error of their ways. The former president of the company is apparently getting twelve years in the slammer, so it does seem that this is being taken very seriously. Let this be a warning to anyone who's not totally on the up-and-up in this industry.

Bill Mastro was nothing but a problem in this hobby. His defrauding has been long known. Nice to see he (and those like with him) are finally getting what they deserve.
