so a guy took everyone that buys hockey (20-40people) for the most part on SCF for their money 100's and even 1000's in some cases.. paypal gave me my money back after the ten days or whatever so i posted on there telling the other people to make sure they filed a claim if they were dealing with the same thing, i think i paid with a gift as well.. i get an email from some guy in charge or whatever
here it is.. i don't understand why would they defend the guy.. and why is he even still allowed on the site..

Just wanted to let you know that I did close your thread regarding JR27, and paypal refunds.

First off, I'm glad to hear the paypal took care of you, and you were refunded.

Second, he now had a "No Trade / Sales Allowed" tag added - I don't imagine it will be too long before he's banned from here. That doesn't help anyone that's been taken by this guy.... but it will stop it from happening again.

Please, just avoid calling out people in threads like that. While yours is maybe the exception to the norm (there's actually a lot of facts backing it up) people usually start these sorts of threads with a lot of baseless accusations, it turns into name calling, and there's a big mess to deal with. That's why we can't really have any like this.

If you want to start a thread saying something like "if you've been scammed, paypal will refund you" and not mention any names - I'd encourage it.

well yeah, if people find out that there are scams going on down there traffic will decrease...the topps boards were fairly decent as far as traffic goes maybe 18 months ago, now a thread will sit until the spammers come through, and im not talking ebay spammers, im talking the phishers...

since then there have been a ton of threads about scammers and membership/posting has greatly declined, at least on the football side...

that site is bs anyway, its beckett jr....id email the guy back and call him floydtown instead of sean :snooty:
 
i was suspended on 2 accounts until 2032 :salut:

one for argueing with a guy who thought Rex Grossman was the savior of the Bears and i told him that he sucks and was a bust...

the second for multiaccounting
 
I got busted on Beckett one time and it was for creating a fake account and then trolling TCG members like Krusin and Jameson :D
 
wow some people need to know about what you posted for a Mod to close it and give that its not good . Maybe the mod could have posted something in the thread about watching who you deal with or how you deal ???

I was suspended many times. Including a 2 month suspension for telling floydtown to **** off in an email. I told him that was an email, and not even on the site, so a suspension shouldnt be accounted for. It didnt matter. I still have an account, but havent been on in at least a year. I might look at the boards one day every 2-3 months.
 
I had a few suspensions over the years. One was by a baseball mod because I mispelled his username in a reply to him. :scratch: He told me I was mocking him and did it on purpose.
