Football Ravens fill hole with backup QB Lemon

The Ravens have signed veteran quarterback Cleo Lemon.

Third-string backup John Beck sustained an undisclosed shoulder/collarbone injury Thursday in a preseason game against the Redskins.

The Ravens expect Beck to be limited over the next few weeks and at this point have no plans to put him on injured reserved.

Lemon, 30, spent last season as a backup for the Jacksonville Jaguars after playing his first two NFL seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
