Proby was the best bada** the NHL will ever have. He not only had awesome skills as a general hockey player, but he had the fierceness of a lion chasing a gazelle (probably not the best comparison... it's all I could think of right now)
Probert was a Detroit hero and everyone here loved him, no matter what happened off the ice.

It was also nice to see Tie Domi at the funeral. Very classy move. Goes to show no matter what happened on the ice, what happens off the ice is a different story. I think (and please... don't rip me a new one for this, anyone) that hockey is the most classy sport. Yeah we have some knuckle heads, but it's things like Tie showing up to a nemesis's funeral that what happens on the ice doesn't matter in off ice friendships.
