NASCAR products are back baby!!!!! oh yeah!
There is a young man (12) that attends the Church I go to and has become my "little buddy"... talks to me at Church all the time and recently added me to his FaceBook Friends list.
When I post something about sports he seems to always "like" or comment.
Long story short... I talked to the young man about Baseball cards and he proudly exclaimed he has "binders with about a thousand cards" in them.
Well now he has another 500-plus to add to his collection, to include game-used and autographs. Nothing of high-end, but the look in his eyes told me that these were as good as gold to him.
Paying it forward to the young collector is more exciting to me than finding that white whale that has eluded my collection for the last 10 years.
Men don't cry, there's NO crying in baseball (from A League of their Own), but it's okay for a 12 year old to shed tears of joy when he gets baseball cards. nuff said!
