So, some of you may already know that I have season tickets for the Pacers this season. It's been a fantasy of mine since I was about 10 years old to have season tickets and this year it finally happened. They're not the greatest seats in the world but they're MINE!! Well I posted a few weeks ago how former Pacers great Darnell "Dr. Dunk" Hillman came up and gave me and my buddy 2 lower level tickets very randomly and it was the coolest sports related experience of my life. Well tonight tops that 10 fold.
We were sitting in our seats as usual (Sec. 227, Row 6, Seat 6 & 7) and Bowser, the Pacers 2nd mascot comes up and sits with us and is goofin around. That was cool but not all THAT unusual. Well about 30 seconds later, we see Lauren, the Pacers jumbotron girl that comes in the stands and announces all of the game night specials and giveaways and crap. We pay no mind to it because again it's not THAT unusual. Well as we sit there watching the game/her (because she's pretty damn hot), the camera on the jumbotron cuts to her and she says "hey fans we're here with tonight's winners of the Kia Motors Ticket Upgrade!" and there's a camera right in our faces. I was frozen and then Bowser proceeds to wrap a t-shirt over my head and smother me. Once I could see again there's 2 guys telling us to follow them and that they're going to show us to our new seats. I can't really describe in words how awesome this all was. Well we went from this ticket...

They gave us this shirt too...
Well there's not a lot I can say to describe how awesome sitting courtside is, so I'll just post some pictures. Didn't have a camera other than the one on my Sidekick, but these still turned out decent.

Needless to say I'm still freakin pumped right now from the experience.
Oh and did I mention that Troy Murphy had a game winning tip-in as the buzzer sounded?? That's right, PACERS WIN!!!!! We're 2 for 2 against the 07-08 Finals teams.
