Kings coach Theus fined $25,000 for ref comments

The NBA has fined Sacramento Kings coach Reggie Theus $25,000 for comments he made about the officiating following a loss to Detroit.

The league also penalized the Kings $25,000 on Thursday for Theus' actions.

Theus said it was "ridiculous" that the Pistons took 36 fouls shots to just 17 for the Kings in Detroit's 100-92 victory in Sacramento on Tuesday.

Has he looked at his team. Seriously, they are not that good.

On a side note, I think coaches should be able to butcher the refs. I do not think players should. But coaches, I say 1 person per team is a good idea, and if they don't want to be yelled at so much, they will make better calls or quit.

It was not like he ripped into the refs, all he said was ridiculous.
