I do not know if any of you remember when Beckett used to do this, but years ago in their magazine they asked collectors what they would buy if they had $100.00 and they picked several cards based on their book value they would buy with the $$$.

Here it is a little different say you have $1000 paypal, and you can buy whatever you wanted with the cash according to eBay sell values what would you get.

My list:

1976 Topps Walter Payton PSA 9 - $550.00
1978 Toopps Tony Dorsett PSA 9 - $150.00
1979 Topps Earl Campbell PSA 9 - $150.00
1985 Topps USFL Doug Flutie PSA 9 - $50.00
1987 Topps Charles Haley PSA 10 - $25.00
1989 Score Michael Irvin PSA 10 - $50.00
1981 Topps Art Monk PSA 9 - $25.00

that is my rough estimate. Other people probably do not think of this crap, but I am always spending money I do not have in my head.

DeMeco Ryans 2006 Contenders Championship Ticket - $200 - $250

Then the best Bart Starr 1957 PSA I could get with the rest.....probably a 7 or 7.5

the topps stars has been going cheap at last check, i could probably land one of those, a 92 UD on card and a raw RC or another 7

Probably over pay for a Carter I need. There's on on eBay I need for $1299 BIN, but he's about double what I'd fork over for it.

Ill put the one I can find but cant afford.

1948 Bob Waterfield Leaf PSA 7 $700

The rest will go to getting Champ Tix I dont have yet for Seahawks and UCLA players.

I'd pick these up

Troy Aikman 89 Score PSA 10 $70-$100
Emmitt Smith 90 Score PSA10 ? (none have ended lately, probably close to $300 )

Then probably pick up some new Krenzel's.

i would get a Lebron rookie auto. i would prefer football stuff but to have that much money to spend on cards all at once i would have to go for the nicest Lebron rookie auto i can get.
