The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Marian Hossa to a 12 year contract.
Hossa will average $5.2 million per year and it is obviously a front loaded contract. Hossa will replace Martin Havlat in the Chicago lineup and that will be an upgrade. The signing of Hossa, who scored 40 goals last season will help the fantasy value of center Jonathan Toews who will have a sniper to pass the puck to.
