I want to start a collection of a player. I am looking for a player that doesnt have a ton of hard to get high dollar cards. Any ideas. Can be past or present player. Favorite teams Dodgers and Oakland A's

Was thinking maybe Jose Canseco? I know I know (STEROID KING)

If you want a young player you could do Danny Putnam. Eric Chavez, Frank Thomas, and Mark McGuire are all options too. Even though Thomas and McGwire are well known, their cards really aren't expensive on the Bay, or on here even. Let me know who you decide because I'm sure I have some cards of whoever you choose.

O yea, and Barry Zito if you like pitchers.

The Dodgers have a LOT of young players that don't really have a ton of cards out there.

A better idea is for you to list players that you actually like and ask opinions on collecting them. I would not want to collect a player that I have no connection with. It doesn't really matter if you get a ton of the hard to get low numbered cards as long as you get things you like.
