Denny Hamlin won his second straight Sprint Cup race, holding off Jeff Gordon in a green-white-checkered finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday night.

Great race! I was pulling for Jeff Gordon to get the win, so he could get in the chase, but he'll just have to win next week at Richmond. Sorry to see that last caution, as Truex Jr had the race all but won until McMurray hit the wall with a handful of laps to go. Hamlin has won 2 straight races now, and is definitely peeking at the right time of the year. His pit crew won him that race getting him out first during the last pit stop under caution.
