The NFL will consider dropping the Pro Bowl if the level of play doesn't improve, Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday night.

"If we cannot accomplish that kind of standard (of high play), I am inclined to not play it," Goodell said.

Really? Keep the same rules that you use during the regular season and play will be of a higher standard.

Get rid of the "you can't rush the quarterback" and other ridiculous rules and the game will be played at the level we all love and respect.

Brandon Marshall had some pretty high quality of play in last year's. There are three things that will bring down the Pro Bowl- #1 is profitability No viewers, no sponsors, no Pro Bowl. #2 is the lack of actual star players participating- we get to see the 7th best QBs go at each other- YAWN! #3 Is the fact that some moron figured that having it before the Super Bowl made some sort of sense. The way I see it, a few gimmicks could prop it up a little, but the current format (including the rules) needs a complete overhaul. BRING BACK NFL's FASTEST MAN! Drop the old farts flag football game! Have a cheerleaders competition, too (actual sporting events variety). FIRE GOODELL!
