I agree with you. I think it would have been a huge mistake to let him leave the team. Hopefully he will learn from this and it will make him a better person and player.

It would have been a knee jerk reaction. So glad get the 4 games and just win baby. Not even in his prime. The media driven incident(aka duke lacrosse)
event was laughable and got a few that are easily mainipulated
