Some guy was looking for auto's of a player.....I happen to have a BGS 9.5.....give him a price and he replies with:

"I'm not going to pay double for a card just because it's already graded." :doh:

Just thought it was funny.

modern graded isnt a big deal for most...

then again i bought a raw 98 Bowman Chrome Interstate Refractor for $65, got it graded, sold it for $350

Unless he is wanting a 9.5, I am more than fine saving the money and getting the card I want in good condition (not on Beckett's scale, you know what I mean) than paying out the *** for a 9.5

Yep. Some don't appreciate the slab and grade as a value add to the card. No skin. If and when you sell it there will be someone who does.
