The Atlanta Falcons signed first-round draft pick Peria Jerry, the team announced Thursday night.
Contract details weren't immediately available. The Falcons begin training camp Saturday and all rookies are now under contract.
Jerry was the 24th overall pick in this year's draft as an All-American out of Mississippi.
Jerry is expected to join Jonathan Babineaux to form the starting pair at defensive tackle.
