had to check posting date, because one of these keeps showing up, but its really the FBI that keeps showing up...
ive seen several of the undercover authentication hidden camera things where they slipped forged material, but because they had the auto ticket it was certified...but this is the first ive heard of the trimmed Honus

They were at Chicago when they were there last. The Honus Wagner investigation has been going on for years now, as well as the investigation into Mastro. Mastro was the main target when they were at Nationals two years ago. Some of the work done on this case is being handled by agents that work in the same office building as I do, but they won't tell me anything, no matter how many times I ask them.

and i wasnt aware of the 'shill' part of things, but i knew about tons of fake memorabilia and trimmed cards...heck at one of the shows a guy was cracking BGS cases in a plastic bag trying to be all stelthy
