The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled Jacob Dowell for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Wild, further indicating that Jonathan Toews will miss a second straight game with concussion-like symptoms. Brent Seabrook also is expected to miss his second game with a similar condition.
The Hawks will face former teammate Martin Havlat for the first time in the regular season, and Cristobal Huet will get his second straight start after shutting out the Nashville Predators on Saturday night.
The Hawks won 2-0 despite playing without the services of Toews and Seabrook, who both left last Wednesday night's contest against the Vancouver Canucks.
