I tried to follow this in the other thread. If you list 2100 cards there is a .15 cent charge per card and a $3 charge per 500 cards. So you need to pay them $330 for them to list them?

Let's say you average $2 per card, that is $4200 if you sell every single one of them. If you cash out they take 20% or $840. Correct?

So $4200 - $840 - $330 = $3030

Is this correct and how it works? I just want to understand. It seems like it is worth it if you are listing a lot of cards because all you have to do it send them in.

yeah the math is something like that....it works for me because im selling crap that id list on eBay and not sell, not sure how the 'higher' end market works, ill find out in 2 weeks when i have 1500 go up...but as of today, my first order has sold enough for the 625 i sent in last week to get processed, 10 of which are express......

granted ive sold some complete crap, and highly doubt ill ever hit a $2 average in sales...

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I sent them my nicer stuff, a lot that booked between $20 and $100. I have been pretty satisfied with the prices.

I've sent in all sorts of stuff and have done very well. Some stuff i have been amazed at what it got and other stuff i thought would sell fast has sat there. But i can say i have done rather well there.

Did you set that price? Or do you leave the book value and then people make offers?

they give you BV and you set your prices . You can go up 30 or 60 percent over book as well.

I have sold stuff on COMC that

A) wouldn't sell at all on eBay

B) sells for more than it would on eBay

Love that place......... you may have to deal with low ball crap, but that's it...... beats scanning, shipping, listing, etc. on your own :salut:

No, I saw a card at 400% of book. Can't remember the card but it was insane. What I do not like is you can not make an offer for less than 50% of the asking price. Lots of cards I'd like to make offers on but when it is priced at 80% of book, I can't lowball hard enough
