Colts receiver Anthony Gonzalez could miss up to eight weeks with sprained ligaments in his right knee.

Coach Jim Caldwell said Thursday that Gonzalez could miss two to eight weeks.

The Colts will sign former Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett some time on Thursday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Caldwell would not confirm if Baskett will be brought aboard. Three-time MVP Peyton Manning, however, told reporters that the Colts wanted to get Baskett up to speed as soon as possible going into Monday night's game against Miami.

Adding Baskett would give the Colts four healthy receivers on the active roster -- Pro Bowler Reggie Wayne, second-year pro Pierre Garcon and rookie Austin Collie.

Gonzalez hurt his right knee during Sunday's 14-12 victory over Jacksonville.
