i know a few people have mentioned this site before for finding cheap player cards and stuff...

i emailed them a few questions yesterday and they got back to me a few hours later...im going to be going through my stuff over the next couple weeks, so im going to pick out some stuff to send there...pretty much just base/insert/rc that i wouldnt be able to really sell on ebay and try my luck...

i know ive got a bunch of stuff that would sell for like $1, but after ebay gets there listing fee, final value fee, and paypal takes their cut, you get like $0.31 or something :snooty:

i guess you can update your price whenever you want, which was my main concern, and they handle all the shipping...ill send in like Topps Chrome RCs, SPA RCs, SPx RCs, stuff like that...then some like Peyton Manning inserts...i like it better than the one site that lets you list (cant think of the name, bounty would know), but you have to ship...checkout does all that crap for you...

i figure ill risk $20-$30 and see what i can do...

Sportlots is mainly if you have 100,000 cards and don't mind doing the leg work.

I sent COMC 100 cards back in November when they had a free 100 card deal. They were mainly lower inserts/oddball/low end jerseys, and I've sold 56 cards for $148 in 8 months ($45 of which was from a Roethlisberger RC card). I've also picked up 35 Dan Marino cards I didn't have, and still have $71 in my account.

It's a pretty ingenious website. It all depends what you have to sell and how much you discount your cards.

But they have fees built in for everything, mainly because they have a flaw in the way they make money. They have a lot of monthly costs such as overhead and salaries, and they were having trouble paying those. Reason is, someone like me who sells on the site and then uses that money to buy other cards, they don't make any money until I cash out or have the cards shipped to me, which may be months...

$x.xx your cost to send cards to them
$3.00 fee per package you send
$0.15 listing fee per card (standard edit 8 weeks (not months) processing)
$0.05 extra per card that is in top loader or hard case
$0.01 monthly per card storage fee (500 cards is $5/month)
$25.00 S/H cap if you want to pull all your cards off the site
20% cash out fee, $3.00 if you want it by check

Buying
$3.00 S/H for first card
$0.25 S/H for each additional card

I have looked at dropping some cards on there. It looks interesting and there are some cards I need on there so I can avoid the withdrawal fees!

I sent in about 500 and have done really well so far in the first couple of weeks.

Sold 28 items for $152.85 but have blown all of it. I have found a couple steals as well as just some great stuff for PC that I didn't have.
