The Arizona Cardinals reached an agreement late Friday night with first-round choice Beanie Wells that will allow him to report to training camp Saturday morning.

Terms of the five-year deal weren't immediately available. Wells was the 31st pick in the 2009 draft and is the big back Ken Whisenhunt has been looking for the past couple of years.

Wells ends a three-day holdout. The Cardinals reported to training camp Wednesday. To make room on the roster for Wells, the Cardinals released tight end Alex Shor.

The former Ohio State starter rushed for 1,197 yards last season before declaring for the draft and being selected in the first round.
