It didn't take long for Clausen to climb up the depth chart and should expect him to be the main backup for the Panthers behind Matt Moore in week one of the regular season. I believe Clausen could push Moore for the job in training camp, but will likely be the backup this year, and perhaps could get a chance to compete for the starting job next year.
