Brewers outfielder Mike Cameron was suspended two games and fined an undisclosed amount for his conduct during Milwaukee's 3-0 victory Saturday against the Atlanta Braves.
Cameron was ejected by plate umpire Marvin Hudson for arguing a called third strike in the top of the ninth. Hudson's cap was pushed back as the two argued face to face.
"He said I bumped him," Cameron said Saturday. "I didn't move. I just said it wasn't a strike. It wasn't a ... strike."
Added Brewers manager Ken Macha: "I didn't see what happened. It may have been hat-to-hat contact."
Cameron appealed the suspension, which had been scheduled to begin Tuesday when the Brewers hosted the Colorado Rockies.
