Breaking News: Rich Rodriguez to Michigan

Michigan fans thought Lloyd Carr couldn't win the big game...Rodriguez just needed to beat 2 cupcakes the past 2 years to get into the title game/BCS bowl and couldn't. Is he going to bring the zone-read offense with him?? I dunno, it just doesn't seem like Michigan to have a QB running around all over the place.

Count me in the minority. His Spread Option will work in the Big-10.
Granted, it will take a year or two to get his players in (QB Mallett may look to transfer), so Michigan could get worse before they get better.

But his offense can beat big, physical defenses. And he'll be able to recruit better athletes at UM so his defense should improve as well.

Not ready to put them in the same category as tOSU yet, but not a bad hire.

There is no doubt he will have a potent offense given time, but can navigate through the BigTen and win the big games?
