Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes was carted off the field Friday night after he appeared to hurt his left ankle while sliding into second base against the Kansas City Royals.

The Blue Jays made a bunch of key off season moves that had many people thinking they'll win the American League Est division this year, but as we all know, what looks good on paper, doesn't necessarily transpire to winning on the field, which is why they actually play the games! Big loss for the Jays, but hopefully he'll only be out a month, or so.
