I like the addition! adds some more veteran leadership. He knows going in that he isn't going to be a big part of the team, probably only 10 minutes a game, but he should be a great fit!
ESPN said:PORTLAND, Ore. -- Veteran forward Juwan Howard has signed a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Howard has spent 15 seasons in the NBA and general manager Kevin Pritchard said Thursday the 36-year-old will add "veteran savvy" to the young roster.
Howard averaged 4.1 points in 42 games with Denver and Charlotte last season.
A member of Michigan's Fab Five, Howard was the fifth player selected in the 1994 draft. He has career averages of 14.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 1,043 games.
