Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook will not play Saturday when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Nashville Predators.
Both players were hurt during Wednesday's game against the Vancouver Canucks and neither practiced Thursday. Toews took a hard hit from Willie Mitchell at center ice and struggled getting back to the bench.
Seabrook took what announcers called a "boot to the face."
The Hawks won't specify what the injuries are, and described them as upper-body injuries.
