a 1st for NHRA - Husband V Wife for the Finals

Angie & Matt Smith NHRA Motorcycle Drag racers advanced from opposite brackets to the Finals later today, this is a 1st for NHRA. If you ever have a chance to see a race live I highly recommend giving it a try. The events last 3 days usually starting Friday night & ending with eliminations on Sunday. It's a VERY VERY fan friendly event with total access to the pits.

Winner = Angie her 1st Wally (Trophy) Finals win. Also had a lady in the Funny car finals, she lost in a close race.

back in the 90s my old man drag raced a boat, his wasn't 'fast' by standards, but top speed was around 120 mph, but yeah, those were fan friendly, even when the 'big boys' were there, the capsuled hydros...ive also heard good things about the cars...I guess nascar is close as well with the pit passes, driver accessibility and such
