I have always liked SP Legendary Cuts in the past. It always seems to be a bummer though to buy a whole box and get 2 GU's in it and thats it. Well, this year, I read Mike's preview on the product and figured ok, 4 Game used cards per box, each box has 12 packs, that means a 1 in 3 chance of getting a game used card. So I went to my local today on my way home from work (Dave's Dugout in Niles, Illinois) and he had 6 boxes on the shelf...$120 per box, $10 per pack...figured I would buy 4 packs to scratch my itch and be done with it, hoping I get my game used card and maybe beat the odds and get 2 of them...well, heres what I got...
Pack 1: all base (Hanley Ramirez, Cole Hamels, Nate McLouth, Cliff Lee, BJ Upton)
:Ulysses S. Grant insert #457/550
Pack 2: base cards (Chad Billingsley, Travis Hafner, Clayton kershaw, Randy johnson)
:20th anniversary card Columbus Blue Jackets
: Cal Ripken Jr/Hanley Ramirez Dual Generations Memorabilia GU
well, there's my hit, hope I get another one
Pack 3: base cards (Derrek Lee, Adrian gonzlez, Alexi Ramirez, Jose Reyes)
:20th anniversary card (Tony Perez)
Pack 4: base cards (Matt Holliday, Jimmy Rollins, Roy Halladay, Tim Lincecum)
: and my first cut auto ever and my new favorite pull
