Nope. If you check out any Exquisite Scripted Swatch Basketball cards, almost all of them are in the correct ink (silver on dark colors, blue on light colors). I have seen photos of a few players signing Upper Deck cards, and there are directions on every box of cards on how to sign it. On dual autographs they even put a film over the area they arent supposed to sign. However, they do use nameplate swatches which leave very little room to sign a good autograph.
