The Pats had about 3 pro bowlers a year even after winning back to back SBs. You can't name one of them that didn't deserve it. A case can be made for Welker too, considering he has over 1000 yards receiving and will have over 100 catches. And I only saw about 5 Colts who were all very deserving...

Talent-wise, maybe Moss...but Brady will obviously be considered the best.

Not to take away anything from Westbrook as he is all class, but why group Moss with those guys? What has he done this year to show that he is anything like them?

Michigan fans thought Lloyd Carr couldn't win the big game...Rodriguez just needed to beat 2 cupcakes the past 2 years to get into the title game/BCS bowl and couldn't. Is he going to bring the zone-read offense with him?? I dunno, it just doesn't seem like Michigan to have a QB running around...

Smith was in and it looked like they were running the WV zone-read offense. He made two nice runs where he broke multiple tackles, but the Jets TE turned the ball over on 3rd down.

Pats run game not so good? 114 yards per game is in the top half of the league.

ESPN did not break the story; Newsday did. ESPN is doing their job and reporting a story. The only reason the Pats get attention is because they have the best shot at an undefeated season since 1972. You must be an idiot to think ESPN wouldn't try to capitalize off that.

I've been loving Gaffney ever since he came aboard last year. I have a feeling that he has earned a spot as a Patriot for the rest of his career. I see them not keeping Stallworth after next year and re-signing Gaffney long term. Gotta give him props :salut::salut:
