Chrome prices are ridiculous this year
Still overpriced for what you get.
Stuff should've never eclipsed $29.99 a box.
Only saving grace is the buyback program... if you get the right player
This is true. Saw it coming when most chrome products were $34.99 last year. Won’t be long before $49.99 will be the benchmark for blasters.

They need to change the name of it to "2024 Topps Chrome Breakers Fright box" when the price of a box is the same as the monthly payment for a luxury vehicle or a mortgage payment. Wow, I thought UD S2 this year was crazy due to Connor Bedard at $300+ a box, but that is insane, is there some super hot rookie in there that is worth that kind of return?
It’s the Griffey chase. First year he has ever had a auto on a chrome card. That and you can only get the legendary autos out of the breakers delight box. Not that that justifies the pricing.
Ok that explains it a little, but I am guessing the odds of pulling a card worth the price of the box is slim to none. Ugh! The great lottery effect on the hobby. LOL.
