I don't see why they let him go all those years ago in the first place. It's not like they had someone better waiting. That much is obvious given the various replacements that couldn't do even half of what he did.

Derrick Rose has skill and IS a leader no question. But people are expected way too much of him. Fans want him to risk his longevity for the "right now". The man has to make money for the long term. People don't understand that.

Personally, I see Houston as the better fit between them and Dallas. Mark Cuban surely has the money to grab Howard. But I don't see him putting up with Dwight's premadonna attitude much.

He's set for life already but his career is done. From what I've been reading they're looking to give him the boot without paying the rest of the money owed to him. Which to be fair serves him right. Too many players are getting away with using roids and have nerve to think it's ok or that...

This feels a lot like Iverson when he came back to Philly. And just like Iverson, his presence will hardly be noticed. Once a player leaves their team for another one, when they go back to the original the whole dynamic is altered. I'm sure they don't expect much out of him.

Honestly, Tebow is just a living publicity stunt now. He hardly got any playing time at NY. The only way he'll even be allow to smell the grass is if Brady gets hurt. And even then they'll look to someone else before him. Tebow is going to be CFL bait within the next two years. Mark my words...

His personality was always likeable. But then again, so was the persona of a lot of athletes when they first go pro. But as the years move along and we see them more, they slowly change. Some of them start to act like they're God's gift. Hopefully D.Rose doesn't fall into that category.

I have to agree with this. Both him and Lebron ONCE UPON A TIME were very likeable people. I think that all the good things said about Dwight went to his head. He got used to being called "the best big man in the game" too much and now he has the personality of a diva to match it. But at least...

Yeah, but that kind of thing happens every year. In fact, maybe 2 years ago they were looking to get rid of preseason altogether because of the constant injuries. When you think about it, that would be bad too because that would make the players rusty and possibly even more suspect to injury.

This is a problem in sports period. Most of the athletes start acting the moment ANYTHING doesn't go their way. The bad part is, I can see younger generations emulating how Ortiz acted and then thinking "it's part of the game".

Yeah, that's why I don't sell individual cards under normal circumstances. The only time I ever sell single cards is when it comes from a set that I didn't have completed in the first place. And that doesn't happen very often because I fight tooth and nail to have all my sets complete
