Why do they do this? It is terrible for the consumer. There are some Topps sets I love and Topps sets I hate but they have their place in the market. They have been the staple of many sports trading cards for decades. This stinks for the hobby when crap like this happens.

Of course each of these brands will likely make there own unlicensed products, but is this the general breakdown?

Will miss the chrome sets.

Expect to see a product dedicated to Topps' autograph dump. Thats what they did with NBA Topps Signature where they had an autograph per pack. Even top players had sometimes close to a thousand or more autographs in the print run.
