Follow up to getting Yankees/Rockies tix last minute last night.
I called up my DM to thank him for the tix last night. He actually apologized for getting them to me late, and asked if I was able to take someone, and how the game went. At the end of the chat he said, "well, is 24 hours ahead of time better notice?" I said, "well sure, that is usually plenty of time. then if I cant go I can at least give them to a client or something". He replies, "well good. I cant go to tomorrow's game. Come by and grab the tix if you want them"! These arent the corporate seats, bt rather his personal seats. Not 1st row, but nice outfield seats nonetheless.
So now I have 2 seats for the Yankees game tomorrow (1:00 pm "kickoff")...with Roger Clemens pitching! Sweetness. BTW, I have a couple calls to make, but if I still have it available tonight, I wouldnt mind going to the game with on of my fellow TCG brothers. Send me a PM if someone is really wanting to go and can take off the afternoon for the game-and might buy me a beer
No promisses, but I think it is a 70% chance my boys will all be tied up tomorrow afternoon.
