The joys of owning your own business. Hung out with the family till about 2:00 and headed in to the ofice for paperwork, and running auto/home quotes. Yippie! :rolleyes:

BTW, these emoticons suck!

Anyway, I have downed about 1/2 a 2 liter od Diet Dr Pepper (I dont drink coffee), and a Subway sandwich. I am hungry, tires, and felt like procratinating for a few. Just thought I would bring you all down with me :salut:

thats why i dont have a job...then again going into education ill end up being up all night grading papers
 
Yeah, grading papers would be a nice change up. You can easil do that while watching the game or whatever. My buddy just finished up his elementary ed degree and is giddy over the thoughts of getting summers off. Plus here in Colorado, teacher salaries have been jumping quite a bit.

ive got quite a few good connections in illinois as far as that goes, because during my observation things i have always been presentable and proper, a little animated when i was there as a guest before i was even planning for sure to get out and start school...my aunt teaches honors history in junior high, had me come in with some stuff i picked up on my adventures, and i did a question answer session with them showing off random products that are a little different...so it was like a lecture on cultural diversity and world economics...then 4 years later im back visiting, but this time was just to sit back and observe the classroom...lots of teachers do pick up summer jobs though to better make ends meet...i guess its fairly common for them to work at the UPS distribution plants...i could see having a part time job during the summer...but after working food service for 4 years, then 8 years of the government, itll be good to get holidays off...

I just had a beckett moment, either that or my origional reply went as an email, IDK WTF happened.

But first of all, I was a govt employee for 8 years and I got a TON of hollidays off. (But I guess since you were military it is different huh?).

And my buddy actually works for UPS now. Put him through college that way. But he gets up at 2:00 am. No thanks. they offered him a FT driver job, and he was tempted, but he feels called to teach I guess.

And I see it helps to have connections, even in the teaching field...lol.

Good luck. I'm glad my office doors get locked at 7. Otherwise, i'd probably have a sleeping bag and coffee pot by my desk...

Yeah, I thought I was at the BMB for a minute. I typed the long reply, and then it disappeared. I was like WTF? LOL.

I think it was about 11:30 and I was still at the office, so I wasnt thinking straight. My bad :salut:
 
Went home for a few hours so I could get some, and shower :)

Back at the office now. I do have 3 appointments today so I wont be stuck inside all day at least. And one of the clients I am seeing today is a college girl whos roomies deffinitely make me :salut:, if you know what I mean. So it wont be all that bad today. Although I'll probably burn up 5-6 gallons of gas. Thank God for tax deductions!
