alright we didnt pull together well enough to get an actual family so the payment was sent to the Northern Illinois Foodbank http://www.northernilfoodbank.org/ which serves the greater chicago area...
got the payment out late because i was waiting on someone *cough* Timmy *cough* but we still had several people donate to my no fee account and one come in the snail mail system...
thanks to all of those who donated, and i was shocked at how much some people gave, i figured a few people toss in $5 and we would do good, but a few people opened their wallets nicely...
hopefully we can pull this together and get a family or two for christmas...also they say this is the time of year that the foodbanks get emptied out after the thanksgiving provisions, so hopefully we help out several families...
