This Day In Sports History

Today in 1928, the Yankee's - A's game featured a record 12 future Hall of Fame players on the field, not to mention 2 HOF managers and an umpire! Nothing like this has ever been achieved since, and probably never will be!

June 1st, 1925 was the first game of Lou Gehrig's Iron Man 2,130 consecutive games streak!

I remember getting his "Baseball's All Time Greats" card as a child, and reading that he was the Iron Man, this was before Ripken surpassed Lou's record!
