tea + keyboard = new keyboard

was cleaning this afternoon cause i was really bored. sat on the floor and removed everything off my tv stand but the tv and wiped everything down with pledge. threw a bunch of crap away. cleaned off the 3 drawer stand next to my bed, threw a bunch of crap away again

while sitting on the floor i rested my tea on the computer desk right above my keyboard, which as it turns out was a bad idea. went to grab for it and it was a little slippery and over it turned on the keyboard. i turned it upside down to get all the water/tea out of it and ice cubes and like a moron decided to use canned air to try and "dry" it off. few keys kept getting stuck and i was getting pissed, so when i went to the store tonight, found a new one.

it's one of those curved keyboards with really soft keys, like on a laptop. was looking at one a few years ago and it was $100, but found one tonight at walmart for $21.52, couldn't pass it up. now i just gotta get used to the curve on the keyboard and quit hitting the wrong keys

haha yeah i know what you mean. i got one from microsoft that is curved and because the buttons that are generally used more are a bit bigger than the other ones, it took forever for me to get used to. but now i type really fast on my desktop keyboard and eh on my laptop (it used to be the other way around haha)

RIP Keyboard :(

I'll stick with my ancient real IBM keyboard I have at home. The thing weighs about 3 pounds, you can hear the keys click in the next room, but I've had it for about 18 years, I guess I'm kinda attached to it :lollol:

Those curvy keyboards are just too confusing for me.

well i didn't mind too much killing the other keyboard because this one is super quiet. the other one the keys were still stiff and i have had it for 3 yrs now. i like updating computer parts. i'm surprised i haven't upgraded my ram on my computer, but my computer is already faster than my internet connection
