Yesterday My oldest son started Kindergarden and he did need me for anything except to take some pictures of him and his friends. He also Learned how to skateboard all on his own. What a sad day..... my baby is growing up. Next year will be sadder because he will start playing football and you know he doesn't need mom for that

my brother in law cried the first time he had to drop my nephew off at preschool, it was my nephews second day there, my sister took off work the first day because she knew it would be too hard on my brother in law...

you can still teach your son football, dont have to be a man to do that...

When they can't walk and talk you wish they could. When they start moving around and talking on their own you wish they'd settle down and shut up. :lollol:

Yeah...it's tough when they seem to grow up in leaps and bounds. Hopefully he's still close at other times as the dependency slips away.

Well her daughter goes to Loyola College in MD, not exactly a football powerhouse (don't have a team that I know of :lollol:) So if I want to go to any games I have to at least make like a fan ;)

Yeah come join us! I just got my season tickets in the mail last friday!

once they start school than it's all over

cell phone wants will be at age 9, first date with "the guys" will be at 12 going to the movies, 14 is when all the little girls that you have never heard their names before, call your house asking for him, 15 is when he starts dodging the girls cause they call him too much, 16 is when he enlists the rest of the family to start covering for him and say he's not home.

after that, life is over

I think the whole list will start sooner for me because I have adopted 3 or 4 teenagers. (vet coaches highschool football). I hate that he is growing up. The worst part about it is that he has been independent since the day he was born. He wouldn't let me hold him unless I had a bottle and now it's getting worse!
