I go and sell my most prized possession to help our family out with some cash. The car I got though doesn't have a CD player in it so I want to put one in. It will cost about $200 because of the kit that is needed for the Taurus. She went nuts saying I can't do it right now because we are spending too much money on other things. I have over 600 live CDs that I can't listen to right now and when my son is in the car he likes to listen to music and can't do that either. We just had a bad fight about this. I can't believe she doesn't appreciate what I did downgrading my car so we can have some cash to do things on the house.

Then she brings up my Giants season tickets, which I haven't paid my brother for yet and how I should let someone else go this year because we don't have the cash. I almost choked her out after that comment.

a decent one will cost more but the one i have was only 85 and it works great

i know what you mean, idk your situation but i can't stand catching crap for buying fairly minor things since i make well over three quarters of the household income
i know that seems kinda crappy but i work hard for the money so if i want something i buy it

It just pisses me off that I made a sacrifice for the family and am getting **** for spending some of the money. It's not like I'm buying some stupid crap either. I do still travel sometimes for work and will drive off the road if I can't listen to my CDs.
